Hey, come on, you guys. Lighten up. I fully recognize the importance of Memorial Day as a recognition of all the brave soldiers who have died over the years. It’s also a day when people go to the beach, have barbecues and hang with their families, and as such is recognized as the beginning of summer. There’s too much intrusion of business into our lives is my point. Remember weekends?

I always thought Memorial Day was recognized as a day to honor our troops and those that gave the ultimate sacrafice. Thanks for taking that from them, declaring it a day of personal enjoyment instead.
