When investment banks lose to "HEDGE FUNDS":

The "HEDGE FUND CHIEFS" are said to collect two per cent of assets and twenty per cent of gains each year even with negative earnings.

It appears that the worst that can happen to the "CEO" if the funds "BUBBLE" bursts is to collect his pay, commissions, options and move on.

The dealer goes broke and his promise of consideration never was.

The "MBA" seems well insulated from the frenetic atmosphere of Wall Street.

The "RAGING BULLS" of wall Street face the sabers of the "TOREADORS" managing those coveted financial markets that promise paradise.

Sometimes the gawds are happy by hurling the virgins into the volcano but sometimes they want the masses to read the entrails of the tribal chieftan.

Rule 1: You are fungible.
Rule 2: If you're not fungible then see rule 1.

People will always think they are irreplacable, that is nature at work with the survivor gene in action. Being selfish, greedy and without remorse when you knock off the competition is part of natures design for your survival.

In business you always need a whipping boy/girl to take the hits, IE: He/She gave me bad advice or He/She didn't follow my directives, therefore they must die for my mistakes which really aren't mistakes because no one has the brain power to understand the grand design I have for the World.

An old old story of survival, Like GWB saying "the economy is not slowing down", to put a more satisfying spin on it, one could say: it is picking up speed in a new direction. - or- the plane is not falling, the ground is rising suddenly to meet it, with bad results.

If the burned 10% of the deadwood on wallstreet they could heat all the homes in America for years.

Not easy to off your high-profile protege? Everyone needs a scapegoat. God snuffed his protege, his own high-profile progeny, without batting a divine, all-seeing eye. To cover which scandal, I wonder.
